We've had to be quite creative with our 1100 square foot home now that two more human beings live with us. However, it seems to be working...for now!
The first change....our ottoman has now become our changing table.
Our chairs have now been converted into high chairs -- best inventions ever for small houses!
The piano room still has the piano in it! However, no more lessons are taught in there by me. It is now the dining area for our family. Yes, the babies sit at the table while Mike and I have dinner. One of my favorite times of the day!
Maybe the funniest change of all...the pantry where we store our garbage cans has turned into a play area for Cameron!
Let's not even get started on the living room. Mike and I still have about 1/3 of the room where we can sit and watch TV for the one free hour we have each night. The other 2/3 is completely overrun with baby stuff galore!
Luckily for us, the babies seem just fine with our little home. They are such good babies and Mike and I are having so much fun watching them learn new things. Here is the cutest video of little Allie showing off her jumping skills. Please ignore Cameron in the background whining and coughing!
Love
grows best in little houses, with fewer walls to separate.
Where you
eat and sleep so close together, you can't help but communicate.
And if
we had more room between us,
think of all we'd miss.
Love grows best
in houses just like this.
