We have been trying to go to the Lehigh Valley Zoo since the beginning of spring. Finally we had a warm enough day to head to Schnecksville.
Now, if you haven't noticed in several of his pictures, Cameron carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. He is quite worried about North Korea, world hunger, the price of gas....but today he truly had a reason to be worried....
Upon arrival at the zoo, we began our adventure. Everything seemed ok to Cameron as we visited the penguins, otter, skunk, raccoon, and goats.
Allie, as usual, was quite at ease and relaxed.
Here is Cameron being a bit concerned that not all the animals have adequate space to roam around in. He's also not too certain about those big hairy things in the cage next to us.

| "I'm not too certain about that bird with the big tail." |
At this point, we had seen pretty much everything in the zoo. We found a nice, shady spot to relax and both babies felt quite comfortable and safe hanging out.
| "We love Puffs, yes, we do!!" |
And then, the close encounter at the Lehigh Valley Zoo began....
| Mike and I both agreed..if my mother had been here, she would have been running to the car at this point. |
| "Hmm...why is everyone looking at me? It must be because I'm so cute!" |
| "It feels good not be worrying about anything!" |
| "Right, Mommy? I shouldn't be worried about anything, right?" |
| Enter peacock #2. |
| "What...Is...That???????? |
| "This makes even me nervous!" |
| Daddy standing guard...I started thinking it would be so cool if the peacock spread his feathers out. |
| And then this happened!!!! |
| But all was well with our close encounter...we got to see some really cool birds up close and enjoyed a beautiful day together as a family. |
| Happy Spring from the Rocc Flock! |
