Man...I remember when weekends used to stress me out because I didn't have enough time to catch up on all my Oprah's that were saved on the DVR. I cannot believe how much we packed into this weekend.
So after our marathon day of apple picking and dog petting on Saturday, we had a great visit from the Quell Family on Sunday. I met the Quell's in 2001 when I was a part of Penn State's THON. The Quell's were the family we sponsored and Jared was the little boy we were dancing for. THON remains to this day one of the best memories of my life but also one of the hardest things I've ever done. For those who don't know what it is, it is a 48 hour long dance marathon which raises money for the Four Diamonds Fund which helps families who are dealing with childhood cancer and supports research. My memories of those 48 hours could fill up pages and pages of this post so I'll just narrow them down to a few key memories:
- Jared Quell and how whenever he was on the floor playing with us, all the pain and tiredness left my body.
- My mom sending me a card that had two toothpicks taped inside it and the card read, "These are to hold your eyelids open!"
- My dad saying to me at the end of the 48th hour, "I knew you could do it. You're a Stanton. We're tough."

It was so great to have Lisa, Dave, and Nolan meet the babies. We decided to hit the local park and the twinjas took us on an adventure!
| Started out at the little playground... |
| Quick flight through the air over to the swings... |
| This was pretty fun! |
| Climb up the rocks... |
| Little Miss Attitude with her foot popped. |
| I love his little eyes looking out over the world! |
| "Hello, people!" |
| I'm outta here! |
| And this led to Cameron eating dirt...which led to us heading home. |
Gammy and Poppy Rocchi then came by for a visit. They were at the Sands for a Corvette show so the babies got to put finger prints and slobber all over the freshly polished car!
| "Get this thing off my head!" |
| Cam kissing the Corvette! |
And finally...today Mike filled up the sandbox for the twins. Allie wasn't too into it, but as you can see below, Cameron had the time of his life!
| This...stuff..is...AMAZING! |
| Wait for it... |
| Wait for it.... |
| HUZZAH! |
I need to get back to work to get rested up. What a great three-day weekend!!
