Linus and Lucy

  Halloween 2014 was so much more fun than Halloween 2013.  A mere year ago, my mother was beginning the last part of her battle with cancer, we were all feeling the effects of Hurricane Sandy, and Michael and I were not getting NEARLY enough sleep.  What a difference a year makes...
 Let's be honest here.  Halloween is a very stressful holiday for parents.  Trying to figure out a costume for these two cuties was very difficult!!  We had all kinds of ideas...ninjas (because of their cute nickname, the TWINJAS), The Flinstones,  Allie the Alligator and Cam the Camel...But we finally settled on Linus and Lucy.  Mostly because Cam loves his blue blankie and he has the thumb sucking nearly perfected!
 Allentown held trick-or-treating last Friday evening.  The babes must have felt the excitement in the air because I received the following text message from Mike at 4:00 PM Friday afternoon:  "No afternoon nap.  This could spell disaster for trick-or-treating tonight."  I didn't care -- we were heading out!!  So we get ourselves all decked out in our Linus and Lucy costumes and hit the town!

The babes got to wear their costumes a few more times...First -- at library story time!

And then -- we got invited to spend actual Halloween night in Nazareth at Barbe Abel's house.  Super fun night!!  Thanks, Barbe!
