It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Wow...Michael and I just survived 10 days of very, very challenging parenting.  I think we were spoiled because the twinjas have been so lovely and fun.  And then the mucous/cough/not sleeping hit.  Literally, we had not slept for 10 nights in a row because either Cam/Allie/both were up crying/coughing all throughout the night.  It was just awful.  Mike said last night, "I am almost giddy because the babies are being so good."  We actually were able to do fun things the last 2 nights because, HALLELUJAH, they are both almost back to being 100% healthy.
First adventure was to check out the Lights in the Parkway.  Mike and I have several memories of this holiday highlight here in Allentown.  First, we both remember the night we took Mom to see them.  She really enjoyed it and it was a fun outing for the three of us.  The second memory isn't nearly as nice.  I had the bright idea to go on a horse-drawn carriage through the display.  Romantic, right?  Not so when the temperature is hovering around 10 degrees and the ride culminates at the top of a hill that is very, very windy.  It was really an awful 10 minutes but we did it!!
Last night's memory can be put on the positive side.  The twinjas enjoyed it and Michael and I enjoyed not being home with two sick, screaming children.

Let's get out of here!

The twinjas love reindeer and love antlers!

Ice-skaters!

Magical!

Santa!

I was trying to get a good picture of the PPL building.  Stupid traffic light turned green!

That was super fun!
Our second adventure was giving the babes a ride in their red wagon around the neighborhood to check out all of the Christmas lights and decorations.  They really enjoyed this, too....And yes, another night of nobody screaming and crying...Pure bliss!

Merry Christmas from the Rocc Flock and may the good health continue!
