3 Month Countdown!

  We headed over to the house today to do a walk-through with Elizabeth and Jay.  Elizabeth has been my right-hand woman through all of the re-design decisions.  We have had MANY evening text message conversations and have built quite an impressive Pinterest board.  It was also the twins first time walking through the house and getting a feel for the new layout.  They were VERY excited to be back in our "broken house" which we've all decided will change to the "fixed house" when we move back in by July 4th!!!

Very fun to play in this house -- will be even more fun (and less dangerous!!) when it's done!

We are planning to put stonework all the way up to the ceiling and windows on either side of the fireplace...this is the spot that caused our house to be so damaged but will now be transformed into a beautiful focal point!

New roof is scheduled to begin on Tuesday!

Basement is still a little spooky....Cameron said, "Mommy!!  There is water in our house!  Can I walk in it?  I have my boots on!"  Why yes, Cam -- walk away!

This will someday be my piano room again!

 In other news, we've started up Lil' Sluggers again.  The twinjas had a fantastic first night and can't wait to go back again next week!

 They are both getting very good at writing their letters....

 And silly selfies are still very much fun!
