Spiderman and Owlette

Time to finish up our October with a post about our Halloween costumes for 2016.  Coming to the final decision took quite a long time....Cam went from Captain America to Spiderman to a Penn State football player back to Captain America and then finally back to Spiderman.  Allie went from Elsa to a Penn State cheerleader to Owlette back to Elsa and then finally back to Owlette.  Mommy went from JoAnn Fabrics to Salvation Army to her sewing machine and then to her glue gun until finally we were ready to go!!!

Now before we get into all of that, I just need to document a few things.  Cameron made Mike and me laugh so hard the other night at dinner that I totally pulled a Sue Stanton -- crying while laughing crazily!  I had asked the twins what they had for lunch at school and Allie told us hot dogs and beans.  I asked Cam if he ate the beans and he said, with the most serious face and little voice, "No, I hid them underneath my napkin so my teacher wouldn't know that I didn't eat them."  I looked at Mike and he looked at me and at first we tried to suppress the laughter but then it just came out.  Mike told me that later Cameron told him that he walked really fast to the garbage can with said plate, beans, and napkin and threw everything away so his teacher wouldn't see it.  Oh, my!

A few cute pics to share...also not Halloween related....

Penn State had an amazing win over Ohio State...let the brainwashing continue!

I had some pretty great (and cute!) helpers at Famous Footwear.

I finally allowed Allie to have a half of an inch cut off from the bottom of her hair.  I am so afraid she's going to lose her curls!

Both twins love to "create" things!  Allie really enjoys doing this while Cameron is amazing at coloring!

Finished products!

We were going to have a drive-in movie in our backyard last weekend but the weather was just awful.  It turned into a movie night in our basement!

Besties!

We got all costumed up for a trip to Boo at the Zoo in Philly...

Allie asked for her face to be painted since I painted Cam's -- love those eyebrows!

Cam is holding his "box o' leaves".

Owlette says, "Hello, fellow bird friends!"

Lots of fun crafts and treats were offered throughout the zoo..

As a special treat, we decided to do the swan boats!

Cam and Mommy were having an AWESOME time!

Two thumbs up!

Allie and Daddy were...well...not having an awesome time.

Forced smile from Michael...what he's really thinking is, "The things this woman makes me do!!!"

The reason for not having fun -- their boat wouldn't turn to the left....so they were forced to pedal backwards a lot. Michael couldn't stop yelling at me....I couldn't stop laughing!

Cam and Mommy cruising by!
Off the boats and off to see the cats!

Since the boats were kind of a bust for Allie and Daddy, we decided to give the train a ride as well!

Patiently waiting....

They got to be in the front!

"I will rule this train!"
  And done!

They did wake up to be SUPER silly for a few minutes...

Last night was trick or treating for Coopersburg.  We went out with our friends from across the street and also Baby Aria and Uncle Jay and Auntie E!

The big kids!
Baby Aria!

The Rocchi cousins!
Baby Aria liked the Jaxx she got as a treat!

Cam and Allie did a great job at pulling the wagon!

We have an AWESOME house in the neighborhood above us - so spooky!  I swear he was looking right at me!
Cameron was inspired by the creepiness to do the zombie dance!
Go, Daddy, go!

   AND DONE!!!

Is Halloween over yet????
