We are wrapping up a pretty awesome Thanksgiving break come today. It was filled with tradition, new experiences, and lots and lots of yummy food!
For the third year running, we have participated in the Lights in the Parkway 5K with our friend Allison and her little girl, Gracie. The twins really enjoyed it and it was a perfect night for it!
Thank you to Nikki for letting us borrow your stroller!!
An ice-skating rink!
The twins ran a good portion of the race!!
On Thanksgiving morning, we packed up and headed down to Gammy and Poppy's house.
Cameron is a great fire keeper!
Great picture...minus Allie's shoes. She had gold dress shoes we had worn down but she insisted on wearing her sneakers so she could run fast. You go, girl!
And no, she wasn't freezing. This little girl is always hot!
We found a feather!
We then began collecting pine cones to make bird feeders and Christmas decorations for our house!
I have another one!!!
Little dance break!
The dudes...
The twins then began conspiring against us....time for a leaf attack!
Allie had the great idea to use my poncho as a leaf carrier!!!
As it began to get darker, it was time to head inside and get in some comfy clothes...almost turkey time!
Love this little girl in her Penn State gear!!
The twins' table with their fancy plates and goblets....the glasses belonged to their Great-Grandmother Rocchi.
Being silly with Poppy....
A Thanksgiving Mannequin Challenge was definitely a new experience!!
Gammy Rocchi made a delicious Thanksgiving dinner and it was a wonderful day!!!
Gobble Wobble PJ's...
The next morning, we headed to our usual Christmas Tree Farm - Dimmick and Sons.
On the hunt!
Let's chop some trees down!
We found the twins' tree!
Go, Cam, go!
Future logger??
Heading out!
Hard worker!
We found Gammy and Poppy's tree!
And....OUR TREE!!! It got bigger and bigger as the day went on...
Twins tree turned out really cute this year. We used decorations that belonged to Great-Grandma Carr along with a tree topper from Joni! We were also able to replace many of the ornaments the twins have received over the past 4 years and were also happy to find a few that survived the fire.
Shorty and Bah-Bah came down for a visit on Friday.
We enjoyed our first Friendsgiving!
Per tradition, Uncle Matty and I played a few Christmas songs....loved the addition of Jay Stanton on vocals!
Saturday involved more decorating and cheering on PSU!!!! Division Champs!
Today will be filled with heading into church and then off to see Santa!! More great memories to share soon!
