Blizzard Blog!

  I'm no scientist but it seems to me that our seasons are shifting 2 months ahead....fall is hot like the summer, winter is cool like fall, and March has brought us WINTER STORM STELLA!  Just when we were all getting used to the idea of 70 degree weather....

I had planned an awesome science experiment....Water Fireworks!

Water...oil...food coloring...

...and disaster!!!  We had the weird gel-like food coloring instead of the  normal stuff...so we made a Water Tornado instead!

Mod Podge/Tissue paper went much better!

Tink has been loving the birds!

And our birds have been loving us!

Allie especially struggled....but giggled the whole time!

Allie eventually decided it was much more comfortable to simply relax in the snow....or pretend they are statues!

I loved these things when I was a kid!

We've watched A LOT of Rescue Bots!

Worked on our rocks for our next random acts of kindness mission!

Finished product!

Went over to our neighbor's house to burn off some steam!!  This thing was awesome!

Back outside for a bit!

Got a few postcards ready for the mail!

And just found out we're off again tomorrow.....guess we can head out and hide our rocks!  Stay tuned!
