Pittsburgh!

  We headed across the state this past weekend to visit my good friend, Jamie, and her husband Bryan.  It was a long time in the car but we had lots of fun seeing a new part of the state!

 First stop was Harrisburg to visit the Whitaker Center.  We spent 3 and 1/2 hours here and easily could have spent 2 more....but we still had a LONG way to go to get to Pittsburgh!

  When we finally tore them away from the center (the struggle was real!) we continued our journey west.  Unfortunately, it was very rainy which slowed us down.  We FINALLY got to Pittsburgh though....

....and brought the rain with us!

 The next morning dawned bright and beautiful and we headed out to explore Pittsburgh!  First up was the University of Pittsburgh where Jamie attended!

Unexpectedly ran into Mike's uncle and cousin!

We moved onto a boat ride that Jamie had set up for us!

The river was so muddy and full of debris because of all the rain the night before!

There was a quick search for treasure!

And treasure we found!

Back up to the top of the boat!

Onward to the incline!

Up we go!

At this point, Cam was NOT excited to get his picture taken.

Trying to get him to smile - it worked!

And at this point, all the boys were rebelling!  You can kind of see Cam's green shorts behind me! Mike's friend from college and her son joined us for the ride up and down!

Back down!

Over to Station Square for a bit!

Luckily we had these great new shirts to change into.....

Back in action!

We made ourselves right at home at Jamie and Bryan's house!

And then headed back east the next morning....

But we HAD to stop at Chocolate World on the way home!
