The Last Egg of Easter!

  The title of this post is something we yelled several times during the last few days.....whenever we had an egg hunt, one would hear this yelled out across the yard as "the last egg of Easter" was located!

 Our spring break started out with Allie having a super fun night at Sweet and Sassy with her Daisy troop.  She was made into a unicorn!

  And then the boys had a turn to be creative...

Quick stop to the Inside Scoop and our break was off to a great start!

   We hosted our annual glow in the dark egg hunt for our neighbors.  Thanks to a huge downpour, the egg hunt was moved indoors.  Still super fun!

  The children woke up to a surprise in the yard Saturday morning....eggs all over the place!  We think the Easter Bunny was doing a fly over and the eggs fell out of the plane!

  We then set off for Hawk Mountain.  Their egg hunt had to be moved indoors as well...but it was still super fun!

Mommy may have been drugged up on Benadryl to try to combat these allergies...hmmm...

We then headed home to prepare for EASTER!  We had to write out letters to the big E.B.

This tower was purchased for Panther....hmm....thinking it's not going to be going anywhere anytime soon!

 We then hosted a small egg hunt for our friends and their son....

 Easter morning...we told the twins they were not to wake us up until after 7:00.  They made it to 6:30 AM...and then patiently waited for Mommy and Daddy to drag themselves out of bed. 

Their patience was drawing thin at this point....

This may be Allie's FAVORITE holiday!

 The twins opted to NOT have a trail of jelly beans lead them to their baskets this year.  Two reasons:  they thought it would be more fun to look for the baskets without the trail.  AND a certain little gray kitten would have scattered the jelly beans all night long!

Allie's basket was hidden behind the cubby in the piano room.

Cam's was in the closet in the bathroom.

 We then headed to Gammy and Poppy's for ONE LAST EGG HUNT!!!

Poppy hid the eggs this year and made them very challenging!

 After a lovely Easter dinner put on by Gammy, it was time to celebrate Uncle Jay's birthday.

At this point, Cameron was pretty much done with EVERYTHING!

  The twins and I were thankful to have ONE MORE DAY OF BREAK today.  Unfortunately, Daddy had to head into work.  Off to Cedar Beach we went!

 Back to the grind tomorrow!  Thankful for all of the rest and relaxation we had this break!  All downhill from here!
