Welcome to....

....the Delis Cafe!  The twins got super excited to clean up their playhouse today.  Since the playhouse is nearly always in a state of disarray, I supported this endeavor.  We worked until it was dark out -- but they are open and ready for business!  They describe their cafe as "a fancy little cafe like the ones in Paris".  I LOVE IT!

The playhouse was a BIG reason we bought this house way back when...
Aunt Jill and Uncle Karl gave it it's first facelift in 2014.  They painted the trim yellow and added a deck.

The twins have always enjoyed playing in it...

But it took on a whole new level today!!  Yes -- that's my vacuum cleaner in there.  We weren't messing around this time.  And yes, the playhouse has electricity!  I think the twins will ultimately move into the playhouse which Mike and I fully support.

We've decorated it over the years with lots of fun stuff -- this is a gourd that Esther Mimi painted for them.

Puppy at the top belonged to Great-Grandma Carr....candlestick holders I made in high school....notice the menu for the Delis Cafe!!  I want to eat there!

Allie decided to use her artwork to spice up the inside a bit.  She said that just a few pieces were hers...and the rest belonged to a French artist named Buash Hua!!!  (I have no idea...I think Cameron made the name up!)

Allie created this fun children's corner because "parents always take forever to eat at restaurants and kids get bored."

Vacuum...cleaning station...tool box.  They are prepared for anything!

For anyone who doesn't know - that's a phone hanging on the wall.  We picked up some of these fun things at yard sales....and Allie painted the skull and the little bunny is from Disney!

Allie girl made this.  :)

Tea set is OLD -- sugar bowl and pitcher are from Mrs. Dibble.  :)

We roped Daddy in to do some late night hanging of objects...

Cameron is the chef and Allie is the waitress!

We hope you visit soon!
