A Snowy February - COVID-19 Continue

We finally got it -- a SNOWY winter!!  This winter has brought much more snow than previous winters....Covid continues to make everything harder.  Virtual snow days is now something that takes away the magic of the snow.  We continue to wait for the day when Covid is under control and we can all get back to school.

Our first snow storm brought about 30 inches over three days of continuous snow.

We have my mom's snowman collection out!

Thankful for the snow blower!

The neighborhood kids have been having so much fun together.  Thankful for this as going to school as been few and far between!

Bird came in the house while Mike was snow blowing.  I did not do well with this situation.  The children were trying to zoom with their classroom teacher and came running when they heard me screaming.  I went out and tried to flag Mike down and he basically ignored me.  I ventured back in and was attempting to get the bird with my bare hands when he entered.  Never was I so thankful to run away from my kitchen!  The bird was safely extracted from the home.

We got the snow cleared from that storm...and now it just keeps snowing every day or every other day!

Bring on spring!!!

We've been using the hill back in the woods for sledding!

The poor twins haven't been to school since January.  They did fill out their Valentines for their classmates.  Now they just need a day when they get to go in order to deliver them!  They currently only go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Starting March 1st, they get to go 4 days a week!!!  We are all very excited for that day to come!

Mike and I had to travel to Shamokin in order to get our first COVID vaccine.  We will be heading back March 6th to get the second dose.  Very thankful!!!

Nighttime sledding is the best time!

I took a terrifying ride down the hill.

The hill just keeps getting better and better!

The kitties have loved having us home so much...

 The icicles are remarkable!!

Christmas cactus is blooming!

We had a really nice Valentine's Day at home.

Mike and I then went out for a date!

More snow is in the forecast...sad that Groundhog was right this year!
