Leading up to Christmas!!!

I was working on our Christmas post....and decided I had to create one for the lead up to Christmas.  December was busy!!!

Per tradition, we got our Christmas trees right after Thanksgiving.  The twins again decorated their tree with a combination of the ornaments they've been given over the years along with decorations made by their great-grandmother and decorations that belonged to their grandmother.

We were happy to be back at Dimmigs Tree Farm to get our big tree!

And big it was!

We then spent the weekend transforming our home into a Christmas wonderland!

Love Allie's nativity scene.  We've lost a few pieces over the years so she had to improvise!  And yes, that string is there because they tied the poor Lego guy to the tracks!

Mom's tree topper went on the tree again!

Someone was not quite feeling the Christmas spirit yet!

Once the house was decorated, we were ready to host our Friendsgiving!  A super fun night with fun friends - and a cookie decorating contest!  Cam and Levi served as our celebrity judges!

We snuck away to Bradford County to spend some time with my brother and his family.

Uncle Jason had a fire starting kit all set up - we tried to start fire with flint!

It was hard!

The kids started building a pretty awesome fort!

Cousins for life!

Allie had her first basketball game and scored her first basket!

We also had our first snow!!  It wasn't much but the kiddos were excited!

READY!

JUMP!

SNOOOOW!!!!!!!

Allie helped me prepare for the 20th Anniversary of the Christmas party!

Great time with great friends...and so fun seeing the kiddos have fun together!

We've been doing this for a long time!

Things got a little nuts at this point in the evening!

We went to Auntie E's house to bake cookies!

Love these two girls.

So much concentration!

Their masterpieces!

We've been enjoying Christmas movies and lots of snuggles from kitties!

We again participated in some Random Acts of Christmas Kindness!

Allie and I paid for the car behind us at McDonalds.

Put some of our cookies in the mailbox for our favorite mail lady!
It's been a while since we've used these....excited to spread them throughout the local Dollar Store again.

Just a random picture.....love seeing them being creative in Lego Land.

We also hung up baggies of quarters on the coin machines at our favorite diner.

One final RACK...a great friend of ours, Karen, sent us a very generous Christmas gift.  We used some of it for our dinner and used the rest to give our waitress a very nice tip.  We also gave the hostess the remaining $40 to put towards the next person's bill.  We love spreading kindness randomly!

We wrote our letters to Santa Claus.....

Allie joined me for one of my many Holiday performances with my choir!

My cousin, Jenny, shared this with us.  Love it!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
