Phew! We did it!! With the help of Deb and Chrissy, we have survived our first stab at hosting a children's birthday party. The day started off a little rocky. Cameron woke up at 5:15 and after I quickly moved him into our bedroom so he wouldn't wake his sister up, he fell asleep until 7:00. This is an hour later than usual. Which means his entire morning schedule was off. I was beginning to panic that he wouldn't take a nap at all before the festivities began but he ended up sleeping from 11:00 - 1:00...and woke just in time for the party! Little Allie girl was perfect as well. She took her morning nap as scheduled, but then took a quick cat nap (Thank you Deb, Jill, and Lil for helping facilitate this!)
With Uncle Matty at the grill, we got all the adults fed. It was then time for the cake smashing! I was all nervous because the babies have never experienced sugar before. They weren't too sure about this slimy, white stuff, but once they got a taste they said, "Yum! Yum!"

The babies went to bed an hour earlier than usual. Good thing because we head off to Gammy and Pop-Pop Rocchi's house for another party tomorrow!
