I have always loved a good yard sale. I remember staying at my Grandma Stanton's house during her annual yard sale. I loved going out and reorganizing things and definitely loved making a sale. Since the twinjas have come along, I have enjoyed being able to consign things at Zoe's Consignment Shop in Allentown...and in turn buying things from the consignment shop with my store credit. It's such a great system....and is a greener way to go!
Everything pictured on this blog either came from friends as hand-me-downs, Craig's List, or our consignment shop. Great stuff for half the price!
First up, the slide!! Mike and I can't remember who passed this along to us, but whoever you are, thank you! The twins love it!
Kate Braunstein snagged the doll house for us. Great find! Turtle sandbox came from our neighbors, the Ebelings.
Door bell still works!
"What's happenin' people???"
"Helllllo!"
"I like to feel the thrill of danger..."
"And HATE when Mommy tells me I'm not allowed to feel the thrill of danger."
Wheelbarrow was a find last summer at a yard sale....25 cents!
Helping Mommy weed her flower garden...
"Enough work for me! Back to the slide!"
"Ok, Cam. Let's take the weeds over to the can!"
Please notice said weeds sitting in a pile on the ground....and the now empty wheelbarrow.
And next, the roller coaster!! Great find off of Craig's List.
The roller coaster can also be used as a ramp for running down...
Whoooa!
Don't they look guilty??
The roller coaster also works well as a canvas for coloring!
I have a few more tricks up my sleeve as their second birthday is rapidly approaching! Reminder to anyone who is coming to the party -- we're having a toy swap at the party. So please bring toys that you're children are done playing with and swap them out for new ones!
