A Text a Day

  Today marks the last day that the wonderful, funny, energetic, sweet Chrissy Montes will officially be Cam and Allie's baby-sitter.  She started caring for the twins back in January of 2013 when I was still reeling from my mother's death and the shock of returning back to work.  She's seen Mike and me at our worse...from not sleeping for 17 days straight when the twins were sick back to back....to how sometimes we don't make our bed in the morning....to how bad we are at throwing away leftovers from the fridge.  She has been a wonderful friend and resource - someone we called when Allie fell off a chair and had to be rushed to the hospital...someone I could ask questions of (why doesn't he poop?????)...and just someone there to help me through a rough patch in my life.
  The title of this post, A Text a Day, is because Chrissy would do just that -- send Michael and me a text each day with a cute or funny picture of the twins and a quick message about what they were up to.  I looked forward to seeing this text every day and it made being away from them a little easier.  They were always having so much fun!!  So this post is again to remind the Rocc Flock of how much stinkin' fun the twins had with their Chrissy.  Warning - it's a long one!  Remember, it's a text a day!

And yes, it was probably 65 degrees out and Allie is still wearing her mittens!
