Birthday Festivities!!!!

 Yeah, summer!!  Things have been crazy busy around here so I haven't had a chance to post about the twins' wonderful birthday festivities.  Lots of fun pictures to share!  Here we go!

 First up, some pictures from their actual birthday enjoying some of their new toys.

Mrs. Richter continues to give us so many wonderful toys and clothes.  THANK YOU!!!  Look at that pile of gifts!

Allie says, "Finally....my parents have realized my potential and gotten me something better to jump on than the mattress in my crib.  My training shall begin now!!"

No thanks to the botched weather forecast (thanks a lot, weather.com) we still had a wonderful day on Saturday, June 14th celebrating Cam and Allie's birthday.  We rented Sherwood Park pavilion so the little ones would have lots of room to run and play.  Next year, party will be at our new home!!!

 Still trying to be as green as possible, even during motherhood, so I asked people to only purchase presents from either a consignment shop or yard sale -- and no wrapping paper or gift bags.  It was wonderful seeing how many great presents people found and also how much money they were able to save!!!  It was a great day with great friends -- and great food!!

  First up -- Joni Raupers, my majorette adviser from high school, bought Allie her first baton.  She also brought along her baton so I could show Allie how it's done.  I could still remember some of our routines from high school!  Jamie and Shannon -- so wish you were there so we could have broken into some all-out parade routines!

Cam wanted in on the action, too.  I see in about 16 years the unprecedented Rocchi Twins as the Feature Twirlers at Penn State....Mike does not share my enthusiasm in this.

They also found a great Handy Manny work table.  They both LOVE it!

Thank you to our dear friend Allison for getting Allie her special birthday shirt!  We've decided this is going to be a tradition!!  I love traditions!

So if Feature Twirler isn't in Cam's future, maybe the World Cup is!!  Michael isn't too enthusiastic about that either..
