Bah-Bah Land

My dad could totally open up an amusement park with all of the fun toys he has -- for both big and little kids alike!  I'm not sure about Bah-Bah Land being the right name for said park, but it will work for this post!

We headed up to Wyalusing this past weekend.  We haven't been there since the summer and it's fun to see how much more interest the twins have in everything.  If your son is into heavy equipment, drive through northeast Pennsylvania where gas drilling is crazy -- you'll see A LOT!

Bah-Bah was very excited to show the twins his new tractor.  He called me when we were about 5 miles away and said he was in the tractor waiting for us.  I know my children and knew they were not going to want to jump right in the tractor after having just ridden in the car for 2 and 1/2 hours.  Cameron especially needs some time to get used to new situations.  So instead of jumping in the tractor, we walked around the homestead checking out all of the "broom-brooms" (trucks) and  "back-hoes" (anything big and yellow).

Following the new tractor!

Bah-Bah plowed a path for us to go check out his back-hoes.

There they are!
We all then decided we'd give the tractor another chance in the morning.  We had a nice dinner all together and then headed up to visit Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Carr.

The next morning, we decided to give the tractor another try.

Cameron loved the "baby back-hoe" (skid-steer).  Of course, he refused to look up for this picture.

So Allie decided to give the tractor a chance.  Cameron still wasn't too sure....

All ready to go!

Mike said the second we left Cameron said he wanted to ride in the tractor too.  They had some fun with an icicle while we were gone!

We're back!

Please notice Allie's little hand holding onto the steering wheel.  It was there the whole time!  She loved driving!

Let's go!!!

One more ride -- notice no Mommy this time!!

Don't their little faces look so cute in the tractor??

Onto the next toy - the gator!

  What a great weekend!!

In closing, a few pictures from last Friday night when Mike was on his own with the twins.  They made some homemade pizza which was very yummy!

First comes the sauce....

Next comes the cheese....

Then some pepperoni!  Which PS - I think "pepperoni" is the twin's cutest word right now!

Almost done!

Into the oven it goes!

Last picture for this post -- I told you he's a goofball!
