Adventure in Hershey!

In the depth of this past winter (January 24th to be exact) I decided to purchase tickets to Disney on Ice for April 11th.  I needed something fun for us to look forward to since all we were doing was dealing with snow, ice, ear infections, RSV, and trips to the hospital.  Yesterday was that trip and we crammed a lot into 7 hours!

The twins woke up VERY excited...

Disney on Ice was pretty spectacular.  Mike and I thought we were golden because both twins were so enthralled with everything happening on the ice....and then enter Ursula (the witch from The Little Mermaid).  Cameron did NOT like her...and that led to him not liking the aliens from Lilo and Stitch....the pirates from Peter Pan...pretty much anything that made the lights go dim and the red lights turn on, he didn't like.  However, Allie was really into it!  After the show was over Cameron did say he liked it but just "Not the big guy" which I think he was his description of Ursula.  Allie chimed in, "I liked the big guy!"

This was his face before Ursula even entered!!

Cameron took a few breaks during the show...he spotted the roller coasters at Hershey Park and informed us that he wanted to ride on them!

As you can see, Allie loved it.

Once the show was over, we went over to Chocolate World to do the ride and get some candy.  At the end of the day, Allie told us this was her favorite part of our day!!

"Hershey's choc-o-late, Hershey's choc-o-late...Hershey - the great American chocolate bar!"  Yes, that song was in my head for hours afterwards...

The reason I'm holding Cameron while he's eating his Kit Kat was because he was obsessed with the waterfall.  He wanted to be able to see it really well!

 Next stop, Troegs Brewery!

After a quick stop at a diner for dinner, we then headed back to Coopersburg (or Big Bird as the twins call our hometown).  Great weekend!
