EGGGG-CITING!!!

Shout out to Mrs. Catherine Kaslusky for the fantastic blog title!!!

I'm currently sitting in our living room, drinking a glass of Merlot, eating leftover birthday cake and having no guilt because of the day we put in....

12 HOURS EARLIER....
Since last week's Easter Egg Hunt was a bust, we decided to try out the hunt in Hellertown.  MUCH warmer day so we were hoping for a better experience.

Allie says, "I don't know about this, Mommy...there look to be way more kids than eggs."

Me getting the twinjas psyched up!

10:00 - Hunt Starts...10:02 -Hunt Over....10:03 - this sad picture is taken...Yes, this is all we got!

But in true twinja fashion, they didn't care!!  They were super excited about the 2 eggs we did get!

And loved the snacks!!!

Cam fell asleep on the way home and decided to snuggle up with Toca for a quick cat nap...see what I did there?  Ha!

Off to Catasauqua for a birthday party for the Donald twins!  We had a great time!

Back home to prepare for Bah-Bah's birthday party.  His actual birthday is the same as the Donald twins!  Very fun!

Twins loved giving Bah-Bah his presents...

Bah-bah loved the presents from the twins...

The twins loved their Easter presents from Bah-Bah!!  The baseball glove, baseball and helmet were a big hit!

Uncle Matty and Aunt Biz joined us for the birthday dinner celebration for Bah-Bah.  Cam and Allie sat at the kids table.  Too cute!

Since it was still light out and not freezing cold, the twins thought it would be fun to go outside a bit before dessert.         They were right!

This picture makes me laugh....Matt said that Cameron looked like our security guard making sure everything was secure for the night...

Love this picture!

Off to make sure the woods were secure...

And then this happened...

Making sure the outer perimeter was secure..

This next picture was taken Friday night by our wonderful friend, Chris.  She came over to be with the twins so Mike and I could go get everything for Easter morning.  Cameron put his heart and soul into making Bah-Bah's birthday cake!!

Here's a fun video from the delivery of the cake!!

Don't you love Allie's little plate??? It was part of a tea set she got in her Easter present.

Cameron says, "Yeah..I'm pretty good at making cakes."

YUMMY!

PRESENT DAY
So now the cake is gone, wine is gone, blog is done, and I am exhausted!  Looking forward to Easter morning and the search for the baskets and egg hunt in our backyard.  Stay tuned for another blog!  Happy Easter, everyone!
