I got one of the most thoughtful and beautiful Christmas presents I've ever received today from a former student of mine, Maggie. She took this picture of the twins which was taken during the twins' first Christmas....and also the first and last Christmas they had with my mom.
It's cross-stitch which Maggie said took her a year and a half to create. I am astounded by this remarkable gift given by a remarkable young lady. I plan on taking it with us during all of our holiday travels this week to share with family and friends. I love it and will hold it dear to my heart forever! Thank you, Maggie!!!!
