Random Acts of Christmas Kindness and then some randomness!

The Rocc Flock has had much fun spreading Random Acts of Christmas Kindness around our area!

Taping some instant popcorn to the Red Box at Giant!

Then off to the Dollar Store!

Cameron really liked hiding the dollars!  I had to go back and make them be a bit more in plain view.

Cute story while we were leaving the Dollar Store...Cameron found a toy that was in the wrong spot so he put it on the right shelf.  Allie then found a toy in the wrong spot and returned it to the correct spot as well.  I said, "Wow!  Maybe you two should get jobs here!"  Cameron proceeded to say, "Me work here when I'm bigger!"  I asked Allie if she was going to work here and she simply answered, "No."  So I said, "Ok, are you going to be a waitress somewhere then?" and she again answered, "No."  So I asked her, "Where will you get your money from then?"  And she answered, "You."  Ha - love it.

We had a lot of fun hiding our little random acts of Christmas kindness but it was the posts on Facebook that made it all really great.  Several people joined my page, "Brighten Their Day the Sue Stanton Way", and a few shared stories of how much the dollar warmed their hearts.  One especially poignant story was of a woman who just started treatments for cancer - the day she found the dollar was actually the first day of her treatment process for the cancer.  Many think my mom was guiding her to finding the dollar to brighten her day - I love that!!

Now...just a few random pictures of December fun!

We hosted a cookie exchange....

Which led to another random act of Christmas kindness -- my mom always loved this one!

Went to the Emmaus Let's Play Books story time and then hung out underneath the Emmaus Christmas tree...
Grrrrr.

Hung out at the library....

Hung out in the sunshine.....

Checked out the Zoo Noel at the Philly Zoo -- and took a spin on the train!

Pretended we were dinosaurs...

And even stood next to Santa....I had to pretty much promise the world to even get them THIS close!

Looking forward to the many memories I can record on the blog over the next several days!
