Paw Patrol Bowling Party!

  We survived another one!  Our super birthday weekend started out with taking brownies to school on Friday which Cameron helped to make.  We had a super busy Saturday morning getting some things done for the broken house and then headed home for naps.  The twins were really excited to take their naps because they knew when they woke up, they would get to look for their birthday cakes which I had made the day before.  The twins came up with the idea of me hiding their birthday cakes and I thought it was really fun!

Cameron is NEVER up first from naps...guess he was excited to look for his cake.....and he found it!

"Mommy!!  This is such a silly picture!  A birthday cake in a bathroom??"

Allie wasn't too into looking for her cake but she enjoyed licking the icing off the decorations!

So did Cam!  Nice bib! :)

 It was then time to pack up and head to the bowling alley!

The set-up!

Since the twins were given so much after the fire, we did not want anyone to buy more presents for their birthdays.  Instead we asked people to bring donations to our local animal shelter.  The twins are really excited to take everything to the shelter -- and we got TONS of stuff!!  Thank you to everyone who donated!

His mom sent me this cute picture a few days ago...Mason named his pup Pickles and Mom said he hasn't left his side!  What a successful adoption!

 Now you would think the entire Rocc Flock would have been exhausted after that birthday party.  Well, 50% were....the other half were not!

 We finally got everyone in bed and then got busy with preparing for their real birthday on Sunday morning.

Please notice the American Girl to the right.  We had gotten this for Allie as a Christmas present.  It was severely smoke damaged in the fire and we just got her back 2 weeks ago.  She looks and smells perfect!!

The doll was the very first thing Allie went to!  She was very excited to see that she was back from the "broken house".

The microphone was definitely the favorite present by both twins.  Love it!

The bikes were pretty exciting too!  Unfortunately, the driveway in our temporary house is not conducive to riding bikes....

I'm sure we'll log a lot of hours back on the driveway at Susan Road!

  And finally, the last party of the weekend.  Our friend's, the Griegers, came over for our last celebration.

Cutest thing ever -- Allie decided she wanted to sing "Happy Birthday" to Cameron through the microphone.  So sweet!!!

 And an update!!  We took all of the donations (the big box of food, toys, litter, treats) and $150 to Animals in Distress today.  They were so thankful!!

 One random picture to share....thanks to Mrs. Richter for the picnic basket!!  We used it to have a picnic lunch in the dining room at our broken house.  Just three more weeks and we'll be eating on a table in there!!
