The Rocc Flock: Missing Pieces of the Rocc Flock Puzzle

The twins had a super special weekend. Gammy had the idea of taking one twin for a weekend to be able to give them one-on-one attention. This weekend was a perfect time to do this as Mike is on his annual golf weekend. It was a new experience for everyone!

So we decided for Allie to go to Gammy and Poppy's house first and for Cameron to stay home with me. Allie was very excited and had no nervousness at all leading up to leaving. I could tell Cam was a little nervous and as they were pulling out of the driveway, Cameron said, "I want to go with her." I real quick whisked him away to Inside Scoop for some ice cream to make him feel better! I'm not gonna lie...I was a little sad to see her to go, too! It was going to be strange for me to be a single mom to one child!

Since we were having a special weekend I told Cameron he could sleep in bed with me. He was VERY excited to do this. Here I am on Sunday night feeling VERY excited to be sleeping alone in my bed tonight! Ha! It was fun but I won't miss having his feet in my face tonight!

We hit a few yard sales Saturday morning and found some great stuff! Since we lost all of our board games, I've been trying to snag a few. We found Scrabble (which I actually hate but Mike loves). Cameron seems to be liking it too!

I asked Cam what word I should spell -- this was his recommendation!

We found a map puzzle - since Cam LOVES maps and puzzles, this was a great find!

The highlight of Mommy/Cammy weekend was going to our first Iron Pigs Game! It just so happened that it was Ferrous' birthday AND fireworks. When we got in the car to head home he said, "Mommy, that was awesome." And then he was asleep within 5 minutes!

Lucky for us the Pigs scored a BUNCH of runs - very exciting!

We woke up Sunday morning and I told Cam he got to choose what we did all day. His first choice was to make blueberry pancakes.

He then wanted to head outside and do some "work". We decided to clean our beach toys since we're heading to the beach in 1 week!

Our weekend together ended with him taking a 3 and 1/2 hour nap and me starting to get things organized for the move in a couple of weeks!

Now onto Miss Allie. As mentioned, she was SO excited to go off on her own. Her weekend was just as jammed pack with fun adventures as Cam's was!

They stopped at the St. John's Carnival on the way home Friday night.

She made this super cute perfectly sized cake! Gammy said this could be a commercial for Duncan Hines. I agree!

Cameron said a few times throughout the weekend that he missed Allie and was wondering when she would be coming back. They were so cute when they were reunited. Very excited to see each other!
