Coopersburg to Danville to Penn State!

Sometimes I overbook the Rocc Flock. I know this and am fine with this because usually my overbooking leads to some really awesome memories!  This past weekend was one of them!

We headed out Saturday afternoon for the Pitcavage home in Danville.  It's always a great time hanging out with this family.  I absolutely love everything we did.  The kids played while we watched some of the Penn State game.  We then headed out on the town!  There was a cool street fair we checked out and then headed into a store that very much reminded me of the Village Variety we always shopped at when I was growing up!!  We went out to dinner and then to a Tasty Freeze (again reminded me very much of my childhood!) that had a great playground next to it.  Nothing fancy but everything was super fun and the kids and adults loved it.

The Tasty Freeze!  Allie said she stuck her tongue out because the crayon was doing it!

This just screams summer happiness!!
The Pitcavage girls with baby James!

Allie and Lucy

The boys playing some Tether Ball!

Please notice Allie's boots.  These are Cam's but she loves borrowing his shoes!
Jack showed Cam how to climb this great tree!

We spent the night in Danville and continued onto Penn State Sunday morning.  To say the twins were excited would be a huge understatement.  The excitement could possibly be because I had built Penn State up to basically sound like the most amazing place on Earth.  I was so excited to share it with the twins and Mike!

First up we checked out the Arboretum which I'm pretty sure used to be a parking lot back in my day.  It was AMAZING!!  I highly recommend it if you're with children or without.  The Childhood's Gate part was especially fun for us.

Which way??  Cam says to the right!

Through the Children's Gate!

"Hey!  There's a buffalo!'

This was super cool!

Awesome cavern!

You're going to see a lot of thumbs up from Cameron in the following pictures.  He learned it from his friend, Baron!
While Allie and I took a potty break, Daddy and Cam went exploring....

Making some beautiful music based on the pentascale!

This thing was amazing.  It was a magnifying glass/kaleidoscope.  So beautiful!
When we got back from our potty break, Cam was so excited to show us everything!

Ready......

FLY!

Allie's turn!

So much to do and see!

Race time!

Race to the fountain!

Everyone doing the thumbs up!

Beautiful camps
This was a beautiful spot.  I bet a lot of weddings happen here!
Time to drive around campus a bit...

Hello Mom!

By this point we were all starving.  Time to head downtown to Baby's!!

There's those thumbs up again!

Allie says, "Babies?? I love babies!"

The twins had lots of fun with the jukebox.  Cameron chose "Hound Dog" and Allie chose "Under the Boardwalk".
After spending entirely too much money on Penn State attire, it was time for the last stop.  Off to the lion!!

These last pictures I will love forever.

WE ARE!!
