Back to Philly!

Mike and I are realizing how great of a city Philadelphia is for kids.  It's so great that we're less than an hour from so many fun things.
We headed down on Labor Day to do one thing we've done a ton (the zoo!) and something we'll never get to do again.  Guess you'll have to keep reading to find out what that was!

 First up -- the zoo!

Mom stopped into say hello.

We got to see the new baby gorilla!  So cute and SO tiny!  Allie loves that her pet caterpillar got her pictures taken too!

Hold on, Cam!

Lots of cats on the catwalk!
Next up -- we headed over to the new Mormon Temple on Vine Street in Philly.  Good friends of ours are Mormon and invited us to tour the Temple.  It is only open for an open house for 2 weeks before it's dedicated.  After the dedication, only people who are Mormon will be allowed inside the Temple.  So this was once in lifetime opportunity!

First off, we randomly discovered this cool wading pool near the Temple.

Cam got soaked but didn't care!
  Next stop - the Temple!

Just wanted to tag on a few pictures of our first camping trip.  This may have been a once in a lifetime happening as well!!

Where's Cam??

Allie says, "Ok, now you're just being weird."

Allie again, "Really?"

"He's out of control."

Allie was very excited to move her babies and baby crib into the tent for the night.

As darkness fell and they really understood what we were going to do, the excitement grew!

Allie was now the very excited one!

Whoa!

Little swinging by campfire!

We did it!!  Well 3/4 of the Rocc Flock did it!

This picture makes me laugh.  The twinjas woke up around 7:00.  I think I had been kind of awake since 2:00 AM having to use the potty.  I didn't want to go in because they were literally sleeping on top of me and didn't want to wake them.  So when they woke up I told them I had to go in and would be right back.  I guess I took too long because as I came back outside I saw this -- and heard them yelling at me, "What's taking you so long!!??!"
And finally -- the cats are all getting along quite swimmingly!
