Ugh - I so wish we'd have normal winters so our kids could experience what we all got to experience...tunnels, sledding, frozen fingers and toes! Oh, well - we had a lovely time playing in the 50+ degree weather a few weeks ago!
Helping Daddy out by taking the garbage cans in.
Couldn't quite carry this one...so he decided to roll it!
Allie then devised an obstacle course...this was the starting line.
"So you pedal to the grass, dig in the mud, and then ride bike!"
Go GO GO!
Some live footage!
So I guess we need to go INSIDE to have some winter fun this year. We went ice-skating for the first time last weekend.
A little nervous at first....luckily Uncle Jay was with us to help in balancing. For as athletic as Michael is, he informed me that he does not ice-skate!
Baby Aria enjoyed being there!
Allie decided to give it a whirl....but got pretty scared and decided she didn't like ice-skating either.
Cam continued trying it....
....and was still pretty nervous.
But he kept at it....
YUM YUM!
.....and slowly began to LOVE IT! He called this his FLAMINGO SKATING!
I was SO proud of him!
Look at that smile!
After some talking (I pretty much promised to buy her anything in the world if she tried again), I convinced Allie to get back on the ice.
Feeling better this time!
The footage above is pretty much all she did...but I am SO proud that she faced her fears! And she wants to try it again sometime soon!
