Pancake and Sausage Testers

The other evening we were discussing future career plans with the children.  Cameron began with, "I want to be a Pancake Tester" in which Allie quickly responded, "I want to be a Sausage Tester."  We ere having breakfast for dinner by the way.  I think they're onto something!

December has been a busy, busy month for the Rocc Flock.  We've been having fun with our "25 Days of Christmas Kindness" Advent Calendar.  I think of Grandma Stanton every time we do a random act of kindness.  December is always a special, magical month, but always brings along with it tinges of sadness from missing my mama.  The twins and Mike definitely help me to keep my mind off it.

First up, we made lots of yummy treats this season!  Cam is definitely more into baking than Allie....but Allie does love to taste test!!!

Love our aprons from Aunt Jill!

These were our green Grinch cookies with tiny hearts!

Gingerbread men!

Allie enjoyed this because she got to be creative!

She also enjoyed making Oreo Lollipops!

Making fudge!

Bacon is a Vegetable....
One of our 25 Acts of Kindness was to give cookies to our neighbors. Scratch that one off!
 Special delivery!

Preparing the walls of our gingerbread house!

We entered it into the Liberty Bell contest!

We didn't place but were proud of it!

Allie received the Pride of Liberty Bell Award!!!
We were SO happy that it snowed!!!!

We had to get some corn out for the deer -- we used our bucket from Bah-Bah!

The deer are happy!

Ready....

Set....

GO!!!

They were giggling away!!

To the front yard!

I love snow!

Mom's snowmen

Something else from our Kindness Calendar -- feed the birds!

Little bit of snow wrestling!

Cam randomly put on Mike's Santa costume today...oh my!

Allie said, "My turn!"

Miles - our Christmas kitty...

Missing our other Christmas kitty...

The kitties are SLOWLY starting to get along....

Few more things from our 25 Days of Christmas Kindness...

Allie did a GREAT job at creating cards that we mailed out to service men and women!

We came across these cards from our friend, Chris, that we thought we had lost in the fire.  We've had fun placing them around town!

Each twin placed 3 into mailboxes of houses in our neighborhood as we walked around one evening!

We drove to this house -- always amazing!!!

Candy cane bombing has been really fun!

Hung these on the machines at the Coop!

Dropped off food for the local food bank.
One day was to tell someone a joke....

Dropped off a donation at Animals in Distress today.  That place does amazing work.

Christmas PJ's are always the best!

Allie was upset about something and Cam was doing his best to cheer her up!

All smiles now!

We again went to Pip the Mouse in the Liberty Bell Museum in Allentown!

Upside  down Christmas tree!

We love Pip!

Allie came with me to Christmas in Nazareth.  That's my Chorale singing in the background!

Singing at Christkindlmarkt is always beautiful!
The twins and I enjoyed seeing this at the Pennsylvania Playhouse in Bethlehem.

One kitty cat....

Another kitty cat...
Mike and I enjoyed a lovely December wedding.
We are very much looking forward to the magic of tomorrow....and will enjoy seeing these two cherubs on stage at Church participating in the story of Christmas!!!  Let the magic begin!
