The Boys Kiss The Ladies!

  "The boys kiss the ladies!" is something Cameron yelled around midnight (really 10:30!) as we did a pretend count-down.  We had so much fun celebrating New Year's Eve.....let's rewind about 28 hours....

 December 30th, 2018 - Around 6:30 PM

 We have been wanting to check out the Lehigh Valley Zoo Winter Lights Spectacular all month long.  We finally got there on the eve of New Year's Eve.  I think this might become a tradition as it was not crowded and it was a fun final thing to do to close out December!

All of the lights were so cool!  Can you see the sled rider and the ice skaters??

Favorite thing?  The huge legos!!!  They build this awesome room for their stuffies!

Now moving onto New Year's Eve.....I had decided to make bags for the twins for each hour starting at 3:00 PM leading us up to 10:00 PM.

This was our first bag....Cameron was not amused that it had a STICK in the bag!

However, Allie thought the fruit kabobs were pretty fun to put together!

Cameron at first wanted to use his kabob as a gun....

But then decided that it was pretty yummy!

We played a quick game of Uno...with all the fur babies around

Cam better be careful-- Rhys is LOVING his blankie!

And then it was time for the 4:00 bag!

Chocolate chips??

Cam's bag had condensed milk....melt them together and you get....

Chocolate fondue!!!!

Yum yum!

   We then took a break to play with Play-Doh.  The twins wanted to make their parents a romantic dinner!

So lovely!

  And then it was time for the 5:00 bags!

The Ducks won so Daddy was happy.

  We then headed home and it was time for the 8:00 bags!

  We all made the decision to do a pretend count-down so we could all be happy and excited to celebrate it instead of being tired and grumpy at the real midnight.  The twins are in love with FULLER HOUSE right now so that's the one we chose!  I told the twins that when we got to zero, it was tradition for people to kiss each other.  That's when Cam said, "The boys kiss the ladies!"

 Please notice the blur of BLUE as Cameron made his escape so the ladies would NOT kiss him!!  He returned a bit later and gave out a few kisses...to his mother AND to Allie!!

 The 10:00 bag was a movie...we started SING but around 10:30 Mommy made the executive decision that it was time to close our eyes.  We all camped out in the living room....
