"I watched until Bah-Bah cut the face off."

Yes.  You guessed it.  Another super fun weekend at Bah-Bah's!!  Cameron spoke the title of this post last evening as Bah-Bah was cleaning the fish Cam caught for us to eat...but I'm getting ahead of myself.

We arrived to Bah-Bahs on Friday afternoon and instantly headed to the 87 degree pool!

Allie spotted a ladybug while we were swimming.  We continue to see these and always think it's my mother saying hello to all of us.

My dad told me a ladybug landed right on his hand yesterday.

We visited the dairy farm real quick...

 And then our neighbor's farm...

We then worked super hard to get Bah-Bah's boat ready to go into the pond on Saturday morning.

If this doesn't say country, I'm not sure what does!

Our friends, the Pitcavages, arrived just in time for their son, Jack, to jump on the boat as my dad hauled it up to the pond.

And then we got our poles out and in the water!

Liz and Jim shared a funny story.  When they told their oldest daughter, Lilly, that they were going to Wyalusing to see the Rocchis, she thought they said they were going wild goose chasing with the Rocchis.  HA!

Cam was too busy fishing to be in the group photo.

Success!

Go, Jim!

Lucy was super brave and decided to take a quick dip.

Jack took the boat for a spin.

And then off to the pool!  Jim was in charge of the splash contest.

Lilly was the high scorer of the day with a 7.3!

Go Lucy!

Go Jack!

Go Cam!

Geez!  I think I should be preparing for the 2020 Summer Olympics!

Toes pointed!

Minimal splash!

This one didn't go as well....

It felt like my head was going to be torn off of my body.

The ladies!

James!
 Little bit of wiffle ball...

If you were wondering why Allie didn't participate in the splash contest, here is her entry.  She's not quite ready for the diving board yet but is awesome at jumping off of the side.

 Time for a gator ride!
The Bro-Mobile

The girls (and James!) were in the other one!  Lilly and Allie are in the back!

I've never seen this before!  Our neighbor's pond washed out a few days ago.  Crazy!

Off to check out our neighbor's farm.

Clyde!

"What's up, dude?"

Back to Bah-Bah's for some R and R....and also Guess Who!

Lilly had fun driving around!  She did a great job!

No picture of the fish but a quick recap of the title of this post.  Cam really wanted to try eating a fish he had caught from Grandpa Carr's pond.  So he caught a large mouth bass and asked Bah-Bah to get it cleaned so we could cook it.  Mike asked Cam if he watched the gutting process....I think you all know his answer.  The fish was good -- little James liked it the best!

Love this spot so much.

Time for some group pictures....Cam made this a bit more challenging than it needed to be.

Not great of the Pitcavages but I love those clouds!

The Pitcavages headed home and we had one more day of hanging out with Bah-Bah.  We all just love his boat!

Success!

And then this boy caught some fish!

 Allie played some tunes!

Then the momma!

"You are my Sunshine" is my current jam.

I always get a bit melancholy around this time of year with missing my mom.  Cameron and I decided to do a quick ride around the block to pick up garbage to keep her "block" looking good.  I was kind of welling up with tears just thinking about all of those walks Mom and I went on when Cam turned to me and asked if we could pick some flowers for Allie since she wasn't feeling well.  It reminded me of life -- so much sadness is all around us but then you look somewhere else and there is so much love.

Finally, the weather forecast was not good for Saturday when our friends were coming to visit.  We were supposed to have thunderstorms starting at 11:00 AM.  All day the storms held off until about 30 minutes after our friends had left to go back home.  Then this rainbow came out.  My mother really is all around us and signs like this make it a bit easier with not having her here with us.
