I don't want to hear any more singing!!! December 2019

Yes....."I don't want to hear any more singing!!" is something that came out of my precious son's mouth when I told him we were heading out for one more concert.  It's been a busy month for the Rocc Flock!

Doing a HUGE photo/video dump on this post so we have room for Christmas Eve and Christmas!

As mentioned above, December was a busy month for me at work.  I think the twins have been enjoying coming along for more and more concerts.....but everyone gets a little overwhelmed in December!

I've loved having Barbe-Mimi come along as our accompanist!

We attended the first annual CLASH OF THE CAROLS in Historic Bethlehem where I had students compete.  We of course had to try out my new phone in the Sun Inn Courtyard!

Super proud of these girls!  They gave an amazing performance!

We found the Lion outside of the Hotel Bethlehem!

Best part?   They won their category!!!

The twins (and Gammy, Poppy, Daddy, and BAH-BAH!) enjoyed our Holiday Pops Concert!

It was great having my dad (and EMMA!) come down for a concert!

Christmas in Nazareth....

I believe this is the day Cameron said the title of this post....

Cameron declined to be in this picture.

I absolutely loved the twins winter program, Flakes.  Gammy, Poppy and I attended it and loved every minute of it!  Cameron even had a line in the show!

Mrs. Yale does a fantastic job!

We love Mr. Hafner, their principal!

This was an especially busy day as we had to then get to Daddy's basketball game.  We enjoyed catching snowflakes out the window as we sat at a stop sign.

Daddy's game was really fun to watch -- it went into overtime and was a nail biter to the end!

We enjoyed Breakfast with Santa at the children's elementary school.

But we all know that the REAL Santa is the one we usually see at Gammy's store.  Unfortunately, Santa wasn't able to make it to the store this year.  Fortunately, he WAS able to stop in at Auntie E's house for a quick visit!

A few of the kiddos were a little nervous when he first came.....

Aria felt a little braver with cousin Allie going in with her.

Cole LOVED Santa!!!

Aria was still a little uncertain....

Allie-girl was ok this year -- and gave him her letter!

Cam was cool as a cucumber!

Just missing one...

Daddy with his favorite guy!

The dudes!

The ladies!

Santa trying to entice Aria with a present....

She went in for the present -- but exited very quickly!

Everyone!

The Rocc Flock

Twinjas in their new Christmas pjs.
Twinjas showing us it was time to go home!
Gammy and I did some cookie baking with the twinjas this year!

This little boy is turning into his father more and more!

FUDGE!

We worked hard!

Cameron a little suspicious of all these photos....

Even the big boys helped during commercial breaks!

We worked hard for about 4 hours....

We enjoyed 2 bottles of lovely red wine.

And had these beauties to show!  HA!!  Never fear -- a few more batches turned out a bit better than these.  I know one thing though - I CANNOT bake cookies!!

Few random things....Erin and I tried our hand at painting.  Pretty fun!

Two exhausted music teachers in December....but ready to do some painting and sipping!

Off we go!

Little trees...

Bigger trees...

Little bit of wine will make this look better...

Concentrating!

Coming together!

Done!  So fun and we were super proud of ourselves!

 Some randomness...

Still having fun with our deer camera.

Love our lights this year!

Mommy finally hit a wall the other day and had to nap....3 of the 4 felines decided to join.

Allie's look of shock and happiness that Mommy was actually able to bake enough edible cookies to give as gifts to people.

Excited about our Highlights subscription that our good friend, Karen, gave as a Christmas present.  Cam's National Geographic should start arriving soon!

Per tradition, we've been reading a Christmas book each night.  Many of these books are from Grandma Stanton.  It's been great having the twins take over reading many of these books.

We got a bit of snow the other day!

Rhys - the snow leopard.

One more note about the cookies...we baked a few more batches to have a cookie exchange with our Susan Road neighbors.  Happy to report that these did turn out pretty good!

Allie is taking over the cookie baking from here on out.

The twins worked HARD to color 25 pictures for Barbe Mimi to again deliver to residents at Moravian Hall Square who suffer from Alzheimer's.

Allie also enjoyed reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas to our neighbor, Mary Therese.  She is a HUGE Olaf fan and this was read from Olaf's perspective!

And finally, we had a lovely afternoon with the Flicker Family and Barbe-Mimi yesterday.  I love having the house filled with piano music -- and that we did!

We also headed out for our annual Hot Cocoa/PJ's/Look at Christmas lights last night.  Looking forward to the next few days of traditions and family!!!

  1. I love reading, listening, and viewing all your wonderful activities. You exhaust me with your energy. I am so thrilled that you have been blessed with twins, and also that Allie and Cam are so blessed with wonderful, active, as well as engaged parents. You are the best.
