LIFE IS BUSY!!!!!!!!!! SO THANKFUL!!!! We are looking forward to a normal summer full of family time and adventures. We kicked it off with a few trips at the end of the school year.
First up was a trip to the Canal Museum in Easton. I was very excited to be able to serve as a chaperone for the twins' class.
| First up was a ride on the Canal Boat! |
| The class read a book all about life on the canal back when it was running. They learned so much from this book! |
| Next up - they learned how to wash clothes like they did back then! |
| They used conch shells to call to each other while on the canal. |
| All the kids had a chance to make a sound in the conch! |
| Quick break for lunch -- Cam invited me to sit by him - so sweet! |
| This station was all about Simple Machines. |
| And finally -- the kids pulled the canal boat! |
The kids really enjoyed their softball and baseball seasons.
| Allie definitely enjoyed her games more than Cameron's games! |
| Friday night movie night is still a favorite family tradition. |
Time for our next adventure....
| Crystal Caves! |
| Mike then took us on a hunt for cool places around Kutztown. We came upon this neat dam. |
| And then the Berks County Graffiti Bridge. |
| This was my favorite artwork! |
Time for a Brewery stop....remember - Michael was in charge of this adventure!
Back home in Coopersburg - my peonies were very beautiful this spring!
We attended a really nice community Memorial Day event.
Then went for a 2-mile run!
| The twins learned how to wash my car....we think this could be a new source of income for them! |
| The deck is finally done! |
| BRING ON SUMMER! |
