Good-bye Summer - Hello Craziness!

WOW...the days of summer are long gone and we are deep into the craziness of back to school.  Everyone made the transition from an adventurous summer to having to be at a desk (or in a gym or in a choir room) all day pretty seamlessly....we all struggle with that awful alarm clock waking us up each morning but always know the glorious days of summer will return again soon!

Even though things are busy it's also been very fun.  Allie and I traveled to Bradford County to volunteer for the Bradford/Sullivan Counties Outstanding Young Woman Program.  This program is near and dear to my heart and it was very special for me to see Allie beginning to become involved in the program as well.  As I served as the Judges Chairperson, Allie helped out with all sorts of tasks -- she also awarded the 10th Annual Sue Stanton Community Service Award to Miss Molly Pifer.

It was a long weekend with lots of driving so I was very thankful for my right-hand girl AND Dunk'!!

Michael, Allie, her friend, and I enjoyed a night at the Nazareth football stadium.  One of my piano students, Sonny Sasso, selected me for his teacher for Teacher Appreciation Night.  It was truly and honor to walk on the field with him!

SPORTS SPORTS SPORTS!!!!!   Both kiddos are enjoying their fall sports!

These are definitely FALL sports!!!

The twins have started piano lessons with Miss Karen Zerconsky -- through ZOOM!  We're only 3 lessons in -- truly hoping they fall in love with being able to create music!

Our little gray kitty, Rhys, was recently diagnosed with Epilepsy.  Thankfully, a tiny pill twice a day has helped her return back to her normal, crazy self!

Thank to the remnants of Hurricane Ian, we were able to have a Saturday with no sports -- time to decorate for Halloween!  Allie, Cameron, and Rhys were a great helpers!

Love these pictures of Panther and Allie-girl.  :)

Allie and I attended a lovely bridal shower of a past student of mine, Maggie.

The Rocc Flock has begun a restaurant club -- first stop was Drip in Hellertown!

We hatched our last monarch butterfly - right before the weather turned!

And stay tuned....our next adventure starts on THURSDAY!
