We headed to the most magical place on Earth again this October which marked our third time going on this adventure...and it truly is an adventure every single time. I can honestly say that I've completely loved each trip we've taken -- first when the twins were 6, then 9 and now this year as 10 year olds. This trip was extra special because the DiFranks joined us!
We flew out from Philadelphia this time around. The twins have become professionals at packing and traveling by this point in their lives!
We met up with the DiFrank's to wait for our flight!
Luckily the kiddos didn't have nearly the amount of work they had to do last year while on vacation. We took advantage of the flight to get most of it done!
We landed in sunny Orlando and were given a ride in this fancy van to our resort.
Aria and Cole definitely love their big cousins.
WE MADE IT!!!
Quick test of the mattress firmness...
...and then off to the pool!!
Cam was reminded of how much fun he had hunting for lizards...the hunt was on once again!
We all took a dip in the pool....
Cam did some sunbathing....
I found my drink for the week...
Quick ride on the Skyliner....
....to the Boardwalk!
Tried to get a good jump picture...
Travel day - DONE! It was time to head home for a good night's sleep before hitting Animal Kingdom!
HERE WE GO!
We didn't do this park last year so we were excited to check it out.
The Tree of Life!
I really do love Disney!
We opted to do the rope drop every morning - which means to get there before the park is open....or apparently before the sun is up!
No worries!!
The Safari was our rope drop choice!
Go Allie! Cameron was SO jealous of the stroller...Mike and I told him to suck it up - they're now big enough to push it!
Love this ride!
It did not disappoint!
It was so beautiful!!!
We were on the search for Hidden Mickey's again - hard to see but the "Flamingo Island" is in the shape of everyone's favorite mouse!
We made it a point to watch Pandora before making the trip -- now we understand these floating things!
Found several hidden Mickey's while waiting for the Pandora ride!
Time to go inside the Tree of Life.
Saw this big guy walking by....
Quick trip over to Dino Land....
Glad to see the pin boards were still around -- all of the kiddos had a lot of fun trading pins!
Bought myself this Witch's Brew...yum yum!
Back to the resort for just a bit.....
Still hunting lizards....they are fast little buggers!
We decided to check out Disney Springs...Lego land was cool but overwhelming!
The kiddos decided to build their own Lego people....fun!
We now move to my favorite park.....MAGIC KINGDOM!!!
Our wonderful friend, Nikki, once again helped us plan our trip. She made the kiddos these super cute shirts and sent along the fun hair accessory. Allie and I had fun experimenting for her look for Magic Kingdom...
Allie is a Disney fan....but decided this was a little much.
Settled on this one - so cute!
First up - time to re-enact my favorite Twinja Disney picture ever!!!
This will always be my favorite.
Waiting for the bus! These are four beautiful children!
Here we come!!!
WE MADE IT!!!!!!
Again...Cam was super jealous of the stroller...I think this showed him that he is just a bit too big for this ride now!
The girls showing off their earrings from Gammy!
We decided to rope drop the Seven Dwarves! Had lots of fun looking for Hidden Mickey's while waiting in line.
Auntie E took one for the team and agreed to ride the Mad Tea Party with the kiddos.
We met Jasmine!
It was then a quick walk across the park to do Space Mountain. Last year, poor Allie had NO idea what she was in for when we forced her onto this ride. She hesitantly agreed to ride it again this year -- and said "it was fine" which is way better than last year's "never again".
The Space Mountain Crew!!!
I then scored a sweet spot for us to sit and enjoy the Magic Kingdom parade!
Here we go!
Onward!
We were headed to the Beast's castle for lunch.
Definitely feeling all of our steps -- we were logging about 8 miles each day!
Michael tried escargot!
Cam tried the gray stuff -- apparently, it's delicious!
So fancy!
Checked out the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse - always a good time.
It was then time for SPLASH MOUNTAIN!
This little 5 year old discovered that he LOVES roller coasters!!!!
Onward to Tom Sawyer's Island!
Yup.....the Disney exhaustion is REAL!
Big Thunder remains our favorite!
Definitely love the Halloween decorations....but I think the next time I'd like to see what they do for Christmas!
Until next time!
I do love Magic Kingdom...but Hollywood Studios is a very close second!
Toy Story Land -- Slinky Dog, here we come!
Chip and Dale!
Ah, the Frozen show....I just love this. Definitely shed some tears!!!
Sugar and caffeine is the name of the game when you're on day 3 of doing Disney....
Checked out the Indiana Jones show this time - really good!
It was super fun to meet so many characters this time around...
Wow -- he really liked Michael!
This little guy was adorable- he really liked the kids!
And they really liked him!
"Hello, Allie."
Beauty and the Beast...
More pin trading!
Another one of those rides that Allie said, "NEVER AGAIN" last year. Well -- we did it again and this time she gave it a thumbs up!
The Tower of Terror Crew!
We ventured over into Star Wars land....wow....simply amazing!
Rise of the Resistance - pretty awesome!
Yup....
Last but not least, EPCOT!!!
First up was France!
Ah....Guardians of the Galaxy. This was truly one of the most amazing things I've ever done. Well done, humans, well done!
Glad the kiddos got to meet so many characters!
Mike had to meet his favorite duck!
Go Ducks!
Mulan was giving the girls pointers on how to become a warrior - love it!
One of the best Hidden Mickey's!
So many pictures of these cool things....I can remember these from when I was 8 years old..so cool!
Going....
going.....
...gone!
Waited around to see the ONE AND ONLY!!!!!!!
Had a nice snack break while listening to an awesome saxophonist!
Peanut butter and jelly wings!!! DELISH!
We were all exhausted but I just had to stop and meet Mary!!
Back to the resort....
One last Sky Liner ride to Epcot to see the fireworks....
The Blood Moon was fantastic!! It's almost like Disney had it placed right in the center of the fireworks show!
The next day we headed home....and unfortunately got stuck in an awful traffic jam on the turnpike. Luckily the kiddos slept the whole time. Good thing because it was back to school the next day!
