Ring in the New Year - 2023!

Finally finding time to round out my December blogging.....

A few random pictures before the big New Year's Eve post!

The weather has been so warm for December.  We enjoy getting outside but want some snow!!!

We welcomed a new member to our family....Frankie!

Excited that the Lions got a Rose Bowl Win!

 We loved having time off to be together as a family and be with our fur babies...

 The twins and I took in a wrestling match in early January to cheer on a student of mine, Sonny Sasso.  Definitely wanted to record this because we think he'll be famous some day!

 We again rang in the New Year with a special activity each hour leading up to midnight.

                                                     

Frankie is doing pretty well...definitely needs to work on getting his poo in the right spot...but besides that, we love him!

The festivities began at 2:00 PM with this bag...and that little tiny train sitting in front of it.

We played Allie's new game, Big Thunder Railroad.  So fun!

Next up was 4:00 (had to leave time to finish the game).

Per tradition, it was time for our fondue pot!

Can't forget about the fruit kabobs as well!

 We were excited to have the Hooks join us this time around.

Onto the 5:00!

The big kids all sat down to create their 2022 Year in Review sheets...

 Little Nellie had lots of fun partying as well!

 6:00 PM brought on some Smash Brothers for the moms.  We had no idea what we were doing but it was lots of fun!

7:00 - time to eat!

Few rounds of Bingo while we waited for our food to arrive...

The kids did a great job at calling out the numbers!

 The food has arrived!

 Boys played darts....girls did art.

 Kiddos hit the hot tub....it was DOWN POURING at one point when they were in there....they didn't seem to care!

 Because of the rain, the 9:00 bag was a bit lame...firecrackers indoors??!?!

 Little Nellie then said it was time to go - so we said good-bye to the Hooks...

And continued with our bags...pretty sure this was to watch a movie so Mommy could get her nap.

But we decided to do a round of darts with the Rocc Flock.

Allie progressively got better!

Game winner!

 I think the family watched a movie...I know I definitely took a nap.  I woke up at one point and I believe Allie was the only one still awake.  We all cracked our eyes open long enough to see the ball drop.

 And headed to bed!!
