Mid-"winter" Check In!

Here it is, February 10th, and we've gotten barely any snow thanks to La Nina.  At this point, I think we're all just looking forward to spring!  According to the groundhog, we're suppose to get 6 more weeks of winter....there is a bit of hope left that March might bring some snow.  But I think the groundhog was grossly mistaken this time around.

A quick photo dump to recount what we've been up to since 2023 arrived!

We checked out the Pennsylvania Farm Show - pretty cool!

Things are super busy for me at Nazareth.

It's always a win when the family can come to my chorus events with me!

Allie and I were discussing all of our Rhys' nicknames the other day....wanted to record them here!!  They are as follows: Rhyssy, Schmeesey, Baybuh, Gravy Baby, Little Gray One

Introducing our newest fur baby....Frankie!  We sadly lost Fluffy over the summer and I've been on the lookout for a Holland Lop.  Frankie came from Lehigh Valley Lops and is 3 years old.  He's super fun....slightly litter box trained...and is currently living in our living room.  We love him!

Speaking of the living room....we replaced our carpeting and love the difference it has made to the coziness of the room.  And yes...the new rabbit is living in the living room on the new carpet....

Allie is again selling Girl Scout cookies.  This year's goal is 500 boxes!!!!

A fun photoshoot with all the fur babies in one spot....actually our entire family was in one spot.  "Imagine if we all had to live in this one room."  The Rocc Flock will understand that reference.

Here is all winter has had to offer so far this year......

Mike had a great season with his girls' basketball team.  He was recently honored at the Teacher Appreciation game at Dieruff High School by one of his past players.

We of course had to have dinner at Stahley's!

 And won the All-City Championship!!

 A few more random pictures...

They had an estate sale at my grandparent's house a few weeks ago and I had my dad snag this for me....

Love that my gram recorded on the back of it...

Are you ready for some football?????

We had a lot of fun hosting the play-off games a few weeks ago....

First up were the Birds....

Photoshoot of the band wagon girls!

Birds win!

 Costume change!!  GO CHIEFS!

This game was a bit closer!

Grace realized they all had a quiz the next day....so we had a quick study session during the end of the Chiefs' game.

Chiefs win!

 A lovely sunrise....

 A cute kitty...

And onto the Super Bowl....the ending was not ideal.  I was torn between consoling my son who was VERY upset at the lost of his team....and celebrating with my husband who was super excited about the win for his team.  In the end, I kind of ran back and forth between the two.

For some reason, the children opted to watch a lot of the game in the basement bathroom.

But then rejoined us in the basement...

The twins helped me put together the cake this year....we had a lot of fun doing this!

Little did Allie know, but she selected the correct jersey for this photoshoot.

We traveled to Bloomsburg to see my nephews play basketball.  It's pretty neat that all 3 are on the same team now.  My dad and Uncle Karl surprised us by being there too!

And my dad once again sent me flowers for Valentine's Day.

So now we wait to see what March has in store...perhaps some snow????
