All kids who grow up in the Wyalusing area know what happens in August. Yes, everyone, it's the carnival! And with carnival week comes the Wednesday night parade. My dad asked us several months ago if the twins would like to be in it and we said yes!

We came up Tuesday evening so had all day Wednesday to hang out with the babes. Lynn Welles, my second grade teacher and a good friend of my mom's, came for a visit and we spent some time in the very warm pool! Thanks, Grandpa, for getting it up to 96 degrees!! We also took a long Gator ride all around -- the twins love Gator ridin'!

And now....the night of the parade! My dad had his old Case all re-worked and had a wagon made especially for the parade. We brought the twins' red wagon along to ride in the wagon with...get it? I was a little worried all day that the weather wouldn't be the best, but the rain held off!!

| My mom always said it was best to the park at the high school and walk over! Very smart! |
| Some of my friends will recognize this road.... |
| Love Little Cam peaking back at me. |
| Very proud of his tractor. |
| Allie says, "So...let me get this straight. We're going to be throwing candy OUT of the wagon and I don't get to eat any? This doesn't make sense to me!" |
| Cam says, "Next year, I want to be riding the tractor!" |
| Allie eating her cheesy puffs...this will be a reoccurring theme throughout this post! |
| Shorty checking out the action. |
Allow me to pause here....Michael hates parades. Hates them. He said today that he has never even been to a parade unless I want to count the costume parades he took part in during elementary school. He actually had a good time and was able to put his athletic abilities to work. He had fun propelling candy at children along the way. No worries -- he was not out to hurt anyone. Just had fun throwing single pieces of candy into kid's outstretched bags and up onto balconies.

| This can was full at the beginning of the parade route... |
| Yum, yum! |
| We love parades!! |
| So thirsty after housing that can of cheesy puffs! |
| Shorty survived the entire ride. I almost lost him at one point when he wanted to jump out and join Dad on the tractor. |
| Guess I'll move onto this box since the cheesy puffs are all gone... |
| "We get to do this again next year????" |
