I'll Count to 62....or actually 10.

The title of this post is a quote from Mister Cameron.  2/3 of the Rocc Flock spent the day at the Lehigh Valley Zoo while the other 1/3 was at a golf tournament this past Saturday.  In true twinja fashion, we enjoyed the zoo for what it had to offer for about 2 hours and then decided to pretend/play tag/play hide and seek for the last hour.  It was Cam's turn to count and Allie's turn to hide and Allie asked him what number he would count to.  He answered, "62....or actually 10" which I found just so funny.

One other thing that I'd like to record here so we don't forget....the twins are struggling with the use of pronouns.  Instead of saying, "She is a nice girl" they instead say, "That one is a nice girl."  I find it endearing....but annoying!  It's a goal of ours to introduce he/she/him/her into their vocabulary this summer!

Anyway, back to the Lehigh Valley Zoo!

Cameron liked this "little guy."

Hold on, Allie!

First time French Braiding Allie's hair!
There was a special group there doing all kinds of fun things....they had a box full of free stuffies...just what we needed - more stuffies!

But they are awfully cute!

Face-painting is always a hit!
Here they are pretending to attack Mommy while in the wolves' den!

Ferocious!

Allie channeling her inner Cheetah

Excited to find a painted rock!

And excited to hide some of ours as well!

Love these two cats.

Best part of the Lehigh Valley Zoo is the drive through the buffalo fields!  Don't worry -- we were parked when I took this picture!

Mean Tiger

We also had fun flying our kites at the park last week during a particularly windy day!

The kids were then done flying so the adults took over.  It was very relaxing!

Things then came to a disastrous end when Allie let go of her kite and off it went to the woods.  Cameron was trying to catch her kite but in the meantime got his kite mixed up in the trees as well.  Both kites were rescued and we learned an important lesson in kite flying.

Just a few pictures of us hanging out with our friend, Nathan.

Always classy

Walked in on this craziness.

Little calmer.....
Cameron has been on an endeavor to color me flowers every since Mother's Day.  Here is my collection thus far.
