In like a lion!

  Phew!  Last week was WILD!  It started with a really scary Nor'easter that blew in so fast on Friday, many school districts didn't get students out until the storm was in full swing.  Some of A and C's classmates were stuck on buses for 4 hours trying to get home!!  We lucked out on many fronts - I was able to get the kids from their daycare at 1:30 (and I had white knuckles the entire drive there and home!) and we didn't lose power.....we actually lost power for 1 second but it immediately came back on.  We are SO thankful for that!

 We survived that storm and then Tuesday into Wednesday brought yet another Nor'easter.  Luckily, it didn't amount to nearly as much snow as people thought, but it was really FUN snow!!  Super wet and easy to pack together.  The twins were really excited!

First up -- a few pictures of trees that fell down in the woods behind out house.  Notice the snow was almost gone!

And then along came Wednesday!!!

This was GREAT snow for making snowmen!

Daddy made a HUGE base!

Cam worked HARD to get the middle part ready!

The birds and squirrels have been frequent visitors to our front porch!

She really wants summer to come (mainly so she can turn 6) but she also loves the snow!

SO HAPPY!  He loves the snow!

And finally -- Cam and I took in a Phantoms Ice Hockey game....and some french fries!

Weird to look at this picture from a few weeks ago...we are ready for the LAMB!!
