Blue White 2018

Not gonna lie....seeing the twins wearing PSU gear and running around the tailgating field was both really fun and also VERY surreal.  I still feel like I should be in college so seeing my children having fun at Penn State is quite strange!

  We started our weekend out by driving to a lovely town called Mifflinburg.  Mike had heard there was a really neat brewery there and it didn't disappoint.  Cool building, great food, and awesome beer!  We also stayed in a really nice B and B where she cooked us up a lovely breakfast.  We were ready for a long day of tailgating!

I had just gotten home from 3 days away at a music conference.  I think everyone was glad I was back!

We met up with our friends on campus and then headed to the fields.  Explaining tailgating to the twins was interesting....they really enjoyed the concept!

Not only were we celebrating Blue White Weekend, we were also celebrating Nolan's 21st birthday.  His mom, Lisa, brought all kinds of fun stuff for us to play with!

It was a tough day to figure out...we started out sitting in the sun but got too hot.  We moved to the shade and got too cold.  We moved a few rows into the sun and it was just right!

 We lasted about 25 minutes and then headed out....
