We have welcomed another fur-baby into our lives. He is a Lionhead Rabbit who is around 4 years old. We adopted him from the Last Chance Ranch and he was been a delight so far!
The twins were super excited to prepare for our next furry friend....
This was the picture sent to us from the shelter....
We headed to the Tractor Supply to buy a bunny barn. Bah-Bah said he'd go in half with us as a birthday present for the kids!
We found a perfect spot for it! Now we just need warm weather!
Daddy and the twins headed to the shelter one day after school to meet him....
....and then we brought him home!
A neighbor also gave us their old cage to us since it's way too cold for the bunny barn right now! He is litter box trained and has enjoyed sleeping in the twins' rooms each night -- they switch back and forth!
He is SO nice!
And very fluffy!
They are all getting along pretty well!
This seems to be My-My's favorite spot....
I think they'll turn into great friends!
Si-Si just wants to stay out of the way!
Bah-Bah came down last weekend so we could celebrate his birthday. Our house definitely turned into a funny farm with Miles, Simon, Fluffy and Shorty!
Bah-Bah came down last Friday night in order to go to the twins' art show at their school. We were all very impressed with the show AND their art work!
Cam made a shark!
Allie made a salmon!
Allie and her self-portrait!
Cam's self-portrait!
April 7th was Bah-Bahs 67th birthday!
Bah-Bah's bday cake!
Allie added the trees!
Gammy and Poppy came down for the bday celebration. We enjoyed a great meal of Surf and Turf that Mike put on!
We also participated in the Lehigh Valley Pediatric Cancer 8K and Kid's Obstacle course. If you can't tell from the pictures, it was FREEZING!!! The twins each got to run in a super fun obstacle course. Mike and I were SO proud of Allie because she was pretty nervous about doing it. But she decided she wanted to do it and off she went!! Here she is with the trophy she picked out!
Trophies all around! Mommy got CLOSE to a trophy by placing 5th in her age group. Not bad for an old lady!
