My 37th birthday is rapidly approaching. The Rocc Flock outdid themselves with treating me to a very special day today. Mike had told me that they had something special planned. I have realized that I really like planning surprises for people but DO NOT like being surprised. I kept asking the twins all week if they knew what was going on and they were either super good liars or didn't know anything!
So this morning I exercised and was heading back to shower when Mike came out and said, "Do not freak out but I don't think you should take a shower." WHAT? Why? At first I thought we were all going to go bike riding but the rest of the Rocc Flock had already bathed. I then noticed a gift bag sitting on the couch which Mike told me to open. I found a gift card to a local clothing store and was instructed to go (without showering!!) and be out of the house for around an hour. I had no idea what was going on but I left!
Upon returning, another gift bag was sitting on the couch. Inside this bag was a luxurious purple robe that Mike told me to put on. Cameron made me close my eyes and led me back to my bedroom to change into the robe. I had no idea why my eyes had to remain closed. When I had changed, I was then led to the children's bathroom which had been transformed into the Le Spa de Mommy.
Upon walking in, I was greeted with peaceful music playing, lovely candles burning, and a compilation of spa treatments!
Michael explained to me the different treatments I would be receiving: an Epson salt based foot bath,, honey and coconut based hair treatment, yogurt and cocoa face mask, and chilled cucumber slices for my eyes! Allie, my attendant, ran to the kitchen and got me a bottle of water and bowl of pretzels while the boys began my treatments. First up was the foot bath, which Michael explained was "definitely not in a CLEANED cat litter box". The boys then applied my hair treatment followed by a shower cap which Michael explained was "definitely not from our lice treatment kit". HA!

| So refreshing! |
Michael then explained I needed to leave my treatments on for 15 minutes and he whisked the twins out of the bathroom. I was left to sit for 15 minutes listening to relaxing music. It was WONDERFUL!
