The Rocc Flock: "Mommy, You Made It!"

"Mommy, you made it!" This is what Cameron said to me as I entered the house last evening around 9:00 PM after having been at our high school graduation ceremony. I kept telling the Rocc Flock that if I could make it to Friday night around that time, I would have made it through another school year! These past few weeks have been especially busy for me and Mike has definitely picked up the slack around the house! We are all looking forward to having a bit less stress in our lives as we move into the summertime.

Not only have I been super busy at school, we have also been super busy on the weekends! Lots to share!

First up was our trip to Great Wolf Lodge. We've been wanting to check this place out for a while and I had a great coupon that we just couldn't resist! So in the midst of mass chaos which is the month of May, off we headed to the Poconos!

To the water park!

Not many pictures from the water park itself but kind of a funny story to share. We did a small slide first just to get the twins used to it. Then we headed to the big ones. Of course, the very first one we chose was the one that had the most spins and gushing water. Allie was NOT a fan. She wanted to head back to the smaller slide that we had started with. Allie and I proceeded to do that slide again and again....and again....and again. I finally convinced her to go back over to the big slides where she agreed to ride the other slides but NOT the yellow and green one. I'm happy to report that during our last hour on the following day, she asked if she could do the yellow and green one...and she LOVED IT!

Cameron on the other hand couldn't get enough of the big slides. Mike and he did those slides again and again...and again. Mike said Cam would yell, "THIS IS AWESOME!" as they went down each time. Cam and I did the slides a few times together and I would scream -- a combination of being a bit scared but more from how fun it was! -- and Cam would yell back, "It's ok Mommy! Don't be scared! This is awesome!!!"

After our first day of the park, we headed to a local brewery for dinner. A cute little wolf decided to tag along....

And we headed back to the lodge for story time.

We headed back to our hotel room where we enjoyed hanging out on the balcony!

And then bedtime!!! They were EXHAUSTED from our awesome first day.

Fluffy Bun Bun continues to be a pretty awesome pet! These pictures feature mostly Cam with Fluff but Allie loves him too! We are noticing that Mr. Miles seems to really becoming close with Allie which is so cute to see!

We had a really nice Memorial Day weekend. Our deck is all done and Mike did a fantastic job with making deck furniture. We were excited to have friends over to spend time on our new deck!
