Carnival 2022

Very weird....but the Wyalusing Carnival took place in July this year.  We all felt a little out of sorts but it was another fun week at Bah-Bah's!

I worked a little bit each day to get her route picked up.  Happy to report it's all clean again!

The pool was absolutely beautiful!!  Thank you to my dad!

So many ladybugs visited us during our week.

Our first adventure was to check out the fireworks display put on by the Endless Mountain PyroTechnics.  It was A - MA - ZING!!!

Next up was a morning with Uncle Jason, Aunt Joanne, Lizzie and Silas.  Uncle Jason took us on an adventure through the Amazon....I mean the banks of the Susquehanna River.

We made it to the water!

Uncle Jason is into hunting for Native American artifacts...so fun!

Michael was pretty found of his discovery.

We found the bald eagle nest!

Little apprehensive to get into the river...

But not for long!

See ya later!

 Quick drive to the Rocks...

Parents were just slightly terrified at this moment.

Oh, Cameron.....

Down the road to Marie Antoinette's Lookout.

 And back to Bah-Bah's!
Twins opted for the VIP seating area.

And then it was time for the parade!!  This year's theme was "Life's a Beach"!

Kiddos had so much fun with the Gromley's!

Mike's blond babe!

The kids were pretty hyped up on parade candy at this point...

Cameron...you're supposed to THROW the candy, not eat it!

Very fun parade.  The kids decided to save an entire bucket of candy for this last leg of the parade route.  So much fun!

Bach to Bah-Bah's to hang out with Emma.

 Next adventure...kayaking with Miss Lynn!

It was cool seeing the Wyalusing Rocks from down below!

Made it to the Rainbow Bridge!

Time for Wrist-Band night at the Carnival!

Twins weren't too certain on this ride...I told Cam I'd ride it with him the first time.  Was very fun...and slightly terrifying.

Thanks to my dad, Mike and I had a lovely dinner out to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary.

And back to the carnival!

Uncle Jason let us borrow his metal detector.  We've been trying to find the time capsule I buried when I was 15 years old.  Thanks for the metal detector, it was been found!!

Unfortunately, my packaging did not withstand the test of time.  We were able to tell what a few things were.  A kazoo?  Why would I put a kazoo in there???

 next event - Family Reunion!

Cam loves his grandfather's BBQ chicken!

Aunt Lucy did a nice family history presentation.

Kiddos enjoyed the pool.

Uncle Louie made us all laugh!

Aunt Lucy showed us my grandmother's baton...including a dent on it from when Grandma used it on her brother, Louie!

Lots of cousins turned 10 this year - happy bday!

Quick trip to the gravel pit!

Bah-Bah took us fishing...it was another beautiful day in Bradford County!

The fish were biting!

Little Emma has to inspect all fish brought aboard!

Great job, Michael!

Ah....love summertime!
