Spring is here!

I heard the peepers chirping last night as I went to pick up Allie from her softball practice.  I always loved hearing the peepers as a kid and it's a sure sign that spring is here.

I'm glad to be doing another blog post - here we are again hanging out in the basement, watching a movie, eating Friday night pizza.  Just a few things to record.

JPLIS had a spirit day where the kids were supposed to wear shirts with inspirational quotes - glad that Allie decided to borrow this shirt from me.

Thanks to La Nina, this winter has been a HUGE bummer.  We traveled to Blue Mountain to at least pretend we had some fun this winter.....

We traveled up to Bradford County to meet the newest Stanton baby.

Allie found book that Grandma Stanton used to read to her as a baby.

Kiddos had fun in the game room.

Gator ridin' is always a good time.

Decided to walk down to the creek since the paths were so muddy.

Allie and I got stuck on the wrong side of the creek....we had to make a bridge out of stones - and with lots of help from Daddy we got to the other side!

We then got to meet Miss Ramona!

We enjoyed spending time with our family - and learning how to play chess!

Mike and I enjoyed a day trip to New York City with Liz and Jim.  Always fun to see new things!

The Harry Potter Store

Teddy Roosevelt's childhood home

The sight of the first community Christmas tree!

Flat Iron Building

Times Square

Rockefeller Center

St. Patrick's Cathedral

 FAO Schwartz!

And finally -- the boys went for an 11 mile walk to further explore the city while Liz and I saw "Parade"!

One final pitstop....these lovers of Hamilton wanted to stop and see the Duel Grounds!

Took the kiddos and their friends to see The Wizard of Oz at DeSales.

Allie-girl got our house all ready for Easter!

And finally...Daddy and I are trying to spend a bit more time together...so why not bake a pie while blindfolded?!?!?

Love our lazy nights together!
