Here's to a Great Summer!

Nothing says summer like a trip to Knoebals!  We headed there yesterday for their opening day.  Bring on summer!
We are fortunate enough to have friends who live 20 minutes from the park.  They were able to tell us all the ins and outs.  Best advice -- bring our jogging stroller to navigate over all of the gravel areas!

The last time we were at Knoebals, the twins had just turned one, we were in the middle of one of the HOTTEST summers ever, and Mike and I were still so scared of one of the twinjas having a meltdown in public.  My what a difference a year makes!!!  The twinjas are now able to actually do the kiddie rides, the weather was just about perfect, and the only anxiety I felt was getting a little dizzy on one of the rides that the twins did 3 times in a row!  It was a wonderful day spent with wonderful friends!

Twinjas reaction to the StratosFear.  My thoughts exactly!

Cameron is a crazy driver.

I think little Jack's face says it all!

Pretty sure I was telling Mike I was starting to feel sick.

"I think Grampa Stanton would love this in his yard.  Can we buy it for him?"

This picture was taken by a proud momma.  The very first ride we did at Knoebals was the train.  Cameron hated it.  Lilly recommended the twins try the firetruck ride but we decided against it because the twins would have to ride by themselves.  We decided to try this ride with Cam riding with Lilly and Allie riding with Jack.  I was so proud of Cameron for being such a brave little boy!

Cam says, "Everything will be fine if you let me hold the reins the whole time!"
"Let's get this thing movin'!!"

Just a short video to show much fun the kids were having!!

And then....we hit the jackpot.  Ride #1.

"It's just me and the open road."

She was this happy and the ride hadn't even started yet!

"Let's go!"

This ride was pretty fast!!  Allie was sliding all over the place!

You know it's a good time when the bottom teeth come out.
"Momma, can we do it again?"
Ride #2...

"It can't be over!!!  That was like 30 seconds!!"

"This is so unfair!!!!!!"

Allie has perfected her first sentence ever...here she is saying, "One more!!!"

"One more!!!  One more!!!"
 3rd time...
Little Lucy joined us for our third (and thankfully final) time!

"Wow....today was almost more fun than Christmas and Easter combined...I'm pooped!"

Yes...I believe Allie is sleeping while eating a pretzel.  It was National Pretzel Day after all!!

Back to the Pitcavages to hang out!

The Rocchi Duo is back at it!

Thanks, Liz and Jim, for some wonderful memories!!  Let's do it again soon!
