Worm Farmin'!

Yes, worms have been brought into the house.  I am now truly the mother of a young boy.  Never fear!!  The worms are all safe inside a worm farm that Mike and the twins created last Friday night.  Boy, does Cameron love these worms....
Special note -- Michael is making a special guest appearance as writer of the captions since this was his project with the kids.  Here we go!

Worm farm ingredient #1 - dirt.  The kids loved this step.

#2 - shredded newspaper.  (Allie is still invested in the project)

#3 - sand.  Lots of sand.  (Allie's interests are fading)

But she's still helping.

#4 - adding some fiber for the worms. (Notice who's still working)

Last layer - DIRT! Cam loves dirt.

"I'm done..."

"see you never, boys."

"But Allie, you're taking all the fun-nel out of this project."

"Get it?  Allie?  Fun-nel?  Fun. Nul.  Funnel?  Get it?  Allie?  Al?  Al? Get it?"

"You guys are the worst.  I'll be in here.  Have a wormderful time."

WORM!

Worms.
Our infinite supply of worms is courtesy of all the bricks lining the flowerbeds in our yard that we are in the process of removing.  Cam figured out how to pry them out himself.
Such a dude.

Boom.  Worm farm.

When worms make you dirty, the best thing to do is splash yourself with all the water in the birdbath.
