If you haven't heard, a boa constrictor is missing in the Susquehanna River. People who owned the snake took it for a swim in Danville -- and when they took a nap, it slithered away. The reason this crazy story has entered my blog is because we were kayaking in the very same river a mere 4 days ago!!! I may not have survived the heart palpitations if a I saw a boa constrictor swimming next to me in the river!
Putting our "fanny in the Susquehanny" has become somewhat of a tradition with my group of friends from the Lehigh Valley. We had a beautiful day for this year's trek!
Thank goodness no boa constrictors!!!!
FYI - It's REALLY hard to take a selfie while in kayaks!!
If you're wondering where the twins were, they were hanging out with our good friend, Lynn Welles. This is also becoming somewhat of a tradition: she lets us borrow her kayaks and she hangs out with the twins! It's a win-win!
Here are some fun pictures that Lynn shared with me from their morning together!
Leaving the twins at people's houses has become pretty easy -- all it took was a chipmunk sighting and they were over Mommy and Daddy!
Playing on the Wyalusing Elementary School playground
Went inside the library to sit on their grandmother's special bench!
And finally, they got a chance to take a kayak for a spin!!
