Nearing the end...

  Where to start?  We just had a fantastic 5 days up north in Wyalusing.  Not going to lie - I cried today when we got out of the pool for the last time.  I've always hated the end of summer and am really dreading returning to work this year!

 This past week was the carnival in Wyalusing and we again took part in the annual parade Wednesday evening.  This year's theme was "Children's Books" and we chose good ol' Dr. Seuss!  Everyone had lots of fun preparing for the theme!

Getting to the parade is half the fun!  We parked at the high school and then got to walk across the train tracks.  Can you sense the excitement??

Cameron did a great job at throwing candy during the entire parade route.  Allie threw candy for about 5 minutes and then chose to sit down and continue eating her own candy.  When I told her we only had a little bit left and asked if she wanted to throw more candy, she reached into the bucket (while still sitting and eating her candy) and half-heartedly threw a Twizzler out onto the road - no children - just the road.  Yup - this is my daughter!
